At the Moment Brinn is helping the victims of the flooding in the state of Tennessee.
The week ended with a bang at the “Stuff The Truck” for Nashville event. Artists, including Brinn Black herself, were performing as vehicles lined the streets to donate items.
The Wal-Mart truck is leaving the Richmond, VA area and will be in Nashville at approximately 8:00pm tonight at The Anchor Fellowship located on 629 3rd Ave. S, where Black plans to meet and help unload its contents.
Over $2,000 were raised, $1,000 was raised on Saturday alone, and donations included canned items, microwaves, computers, clothes, baby chairs, diapers, furniture, crayons, and many more.
Black and her mother Sandra Thomas, who is a music teacher at Clover Hill High School, worked very hard last week to plan the event, and were overwhelmed by the generosity of the Richmond, VA area residents who came out to volunteer and donate items.
